Why couple's photos?
Whether you've been dating for a few months, are newly engaged, or have been married for years, couples photos are the best way to document your relationship! The reality is, no matter how long you've been together, relationships change and grow with time. Photos are an amazing way to reminisce and create amazing memories you'll cherish for the rest of your life!
If you're thinking about hiring me for your wedding, I highly recommend couple's photos prior to your wedding. That's why all my wedding packages include a complimentary, 90 minute couple's session! It's a great opportunity for us to get to know one another before the big day, and will allow you both to get super comfortable in front of my camera!
If you do not have wedding plans, or if your wedding has already happened, couples photos are still an amazing opportunity to create memories. My sessions are always very laid back and fun, with a heavy focus on authenticity. Your session will be a break from the craziness of life to simply focus on one another.
Hope & Joey
Hope and Joey's session was fun and spontaneous. Some particularly relentless mosquitoes ruined our original plans of taking photos on the bluffs. We decided to try a different location (after we had already started the session) and wound up in Downtown La Crosse. The change of scenery did nothing to damper their spirits, and we were still able to include lots of sunshine and greenery! Overall, we had so much fun and I cannot wait for their wedding day!
Melanie & Jack
Melanie came into her session with a vision! She wanted to incorporate their love for river life and their love for travel into their session. This vision brought us first to Perrot Park in Trempealeau, WI where we shared many laughs! Then we took their boat out on the Mississippi to their favorite sandbar. After some hiking, we captured some of the most epic engagement photos I've ever taken!
Chloe & Calvin
Chloe and Calvin's session had so many fun elements! We started at their home with their puppies Brutus & Lina. From cozy photos in their room to drinks at their bar, it was so fun getting to incorporate their home into the session! Next we stopped by Riverside Park in La Crosse to incorporate the International Friendship Gardens. Then we went to the upper Hixon trails in La Crosse, WI to explore and finish out the evening with the most stunning golden hour!
Sabrina & Terence
Sabrina and Terrance's sessions was a little different than my regular sessions! Not only are they already married, but they have been married for 17 years! We traveled out to her family cabin where we played in the snow, had a camp fire and roasted marshmallows, read books on the couch, and even went sledding! My heart was so full following this session!
