WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS
ELEVATED STORYTELLING FOR THE BOLD

A laid back approach that focuses on how your wedding day truly feels. I'm about meeting you where you're at and photographing you as you are. I want to tell your story through images that will take you back to this amazing day. I want you not only to have quality, stunning photos, I want you to have intentional memories behind your photos.
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
I take the time to actually build a friendship with you. From the moment you inquire, my goal is to get to know you, both individually and as a couple. I'm not just interested in your wedding day: I'm interested in your entire story from start to finish. I always try to meet up in person with each couple before your wedding day, because I believe authentic, in person interaction is the key to determining if we are a good fit. I want to get coffee, drinks, or food
at your favorite spot. On top of that, all my wedding packages include an engagement session because working with you prior to your wedding day is so important to me. I want to make sure that you not only know me, but feel comfortable in front of my camera. By the time we hit your wedding day, I want to be so much more than a photographer to you. I want to be as invested as all of your guests. I want to be a friend who laughs with you, tears up at your vows, and is beyond psyched for the journey you are pursuing together.

"BUT WHAT IF WE'RE AWKWARD OR NOT VERY PHOTOGENIC?"
For one, I absolutely doubt that's true. Second, don't worry about being anything other than yourself, let me handle the rest!
Anyone can ask you to smile for the camera, or hold hands, but what about the candid moments and authentic laughs? Of course we will do some posing and smiling, but the focus will be less on the stiff poses and more on the relaxed and fun interactions. I will always tell you what to do with your hands, but I still want you to feel like yourself and see your relationship through the images we capture. The goal is to foster sweet, intimate moments, not synthetically create them, while documenting the precious moments you didn't even realize were happening.
WHAT ABOUT ON THE WEDDING DAY?
My goal on your wedding day is not only to document your day artfully, but to make sure you get to focus on eachother rather than the stress of the day. I want to take on all the little things, get people in the right spot, and help everyone keep to the timeline so you don't have to. Your wedding day is about your love for one another, so that's where I want your focus to be all day long. I try to be as laid back and flexible as I can be, because the last thing I want to do is add stress to your plate. Though we will work together throughout your day, expect the time I have with the two of you to be intentional. That time will be an opportunity to slow down and go back to root of the event and only focus on one another.

Noah & Meghan
Noah and Meghan were married on private property in Northern Minnesota on a rainy summer day. Their wedding was incredibly intimate and intentional. They shared vows, exchanged rings, sang hymns, and were prayed over by all their guests in the backyard before sealing their marriage with a kiss. The two retired with their guests to their tent reception just in time for the rain to begin. Though it poured, and the power went out several times, it did nothing to stop the laughter, memories, or happy tears from continuing all evening. It was clear how ecstatic each and every person in attendance was for the marriage of these two, and they were not about to let some rain dampen their spirits. The evening came to a close with dancing, homemade wine, and peach skies. There are so many emotions that come with this sweet day, I always find myself tearing up when I look through them!
Sierra & Joey
Sierra and Joey were married in the heart of Madison, WI at the Edgewater Hotel. The day had stunning details ranging from gorgeous florals, to chic modern black and white elements. Sierra is originally from upstate New York, so she wanted to feel like she was in the woods. Floral Expressions created this stunning effect through dripping overhead greenery throughout the reception space. Olive Branch Events absolutely nailed the design of this beautiful event and getting to document it was such a privilege. Sierra and Joey had a shorter ceremony before retiring to their reception where they shared personalized drinks and heartfelt speeches that had everyone tearing up. They ended the night dancing away to their live band. This was one of the most magical wedding days, and I could not be happier to have been a part of it!
Seth & Emma
Seth and Emma tied the knot at the Maroon Bells Amphitheatre in Colorado. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. The two invites their closest friends and family to travel with them, and shared vows and rings in front of this breathtaking view. Afterwards everyone shared an intimate meal together at The Highlands Alehouse. The speeches were incredibly heartfelt, and the evening ended with dancing and ice cream sundays!
Amanda & Weeden
Amanda and Weeden had an relaxed but elevated day at the Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton, WI. The two opted for a more simple day by not having a wedding party, and having all the events of the day in one location. The couple also had a lot of personal and intentional touches including flowers grown by family, homemade watercolor signage, and handwritten vows. They left lots of open space in their day which made room for the sweetest in-between moments between them. Their wedding ended with cake, doughnuts, and live music to celebrate!
Lena & Kallie
Lena and Kal's wedding was a vintage dream! The couple chose to focus in on thoughtful details and creating a beautiful time with their guests, while passing on wedding norms like a traditional wedding party. The couple enjoyed the perfect fall day with peek colors and sunny skies at Hidden Meadows. They had a carefree attitude which allowed them to be fully present throughout their day with their family and friends. The couple thrifted most of their décor, chose to have a wood fired pizza truck for dinner, and opted for a live band for their dance. The amount of joy in this day is overwhelming, and it will always have a special place in my heart!
